Job summary

Flogas Britain is seeking a Health & Safety Support Manager to assist the Head of Occupational Health & Safety in developing and implementing robust HSE management systems across operations from distribution to production. The role requires driving a positive safety culture with proactive leadership.

You will coordinate with regional teams, oversee HSE initiatives, and ensure compliance with statutory and company standards while travel is required across the South West and South East.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent is required.
• Knowledge of HSE legislation and standards.
• Experience with safety management systems and risk control tools.
• Experience investigating HSE incidents and near misses to identify root causes.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence.
• Must hold a full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide health, safety, security and environmental guidance to senior management and colleagues across regions.
• Act as a point of contact for HSE; collaborate with local teams to improve safety culture.
• Support HSE initiatives ensuring alignment with external standards and local challenges.
• Promote a positive safety culture with visible leadership across functions.
• Lead and monitor critical HSE systems to ensure compliance with standards.
