Job summary

Lovell is seeking an experienced Health, Safety and Environment Manager for the East Midlands region, based from the Derby office. You will promote a positive HSE culture, lead inspections, audits and incident prevention across projects, and ensure compliance with policies and ISO standards.

You will provide guidance to project teams, support training, and liaise with enforcement bodies to maintain high safety performance and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH or equivalent health, safety qualification.
• Membership of IOSH and active professional standing.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001/14001/45001 standards is essential.
• Environmental qualification such as IEMA is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead inspections and audits across projects and offices.
• Provide expert HSE guidance to operations and management.
• Drive incident prevention and compliance with standards.
• Deliver training and liaise with authorities as required.
