Job summary

Lovell is seeking an experienced Health, Safety and Environment Manager to join the East Midlands region, based from our Derby office and supporting projects across the region. Reporting to the Regional Managing Director, you will promote a positive health, safety and environmental culture and ensure the highest standards of compliance and continual improvement across our construction operations.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH qualification or equivalent and IOSH membership.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
• Environmental qualification such as IEMA would be advantageous.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe, sustainable and compliant working environment across construction projects.
• Lead inspections and audits and support incident prevention initiatives.
• Provide guidance to operational teams and liaise with enforcing authorities.
• Ensure documentation, notices, certificates and emergency information are up to date.
• Deliver training and drive continuous improvement in HSE practices.
