Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Regional HR Advisor to support our B&Q retail logistics operations in Doncaster and Blyth. This full-time, 6-month fixed-term contract provides in-person HR and ER expertise across multiple sites, reporting to regional leadership.

You will handle absence, conduct, capability, grievances, recruitment, and employee engagement, while ensuring UK employment law compliance. A CIPD Level 5 or progress toward it is preferred, and a full UK driving licence to travel

Qualifications

• Experience as an HR Advisor or senior HR generalist with ER exposure.
• CIPD Level 5 preferred or working towards.
• Experience in unionised multisite operational environments.
• Sound knowledge of UK employment law and handling sensitive cases.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills at all levels; highly organised and fast-paced.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient HR and payroll support to site-based teams across GXO B&Q network.
• Offer dedicated HR advisory service on absence, conduct, capability, grievances, recruitment, engagement and organisational change.
• Support teams in developing employee engagement initiatives.
• Build collaborative relationships with site functions and service providers.
