Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Regional HR Manager in the Wakefield area to partner with General Managers and guide managers across multiple sites. You will manage complex employee relations cases, coach leaders, and drive TUPE and change initiatives within a busy transport operation.

The role requires travel across North/Northwest, is full-time and Monday–Friday 08:00–17:00 with alignment to business needs. Salary up to £55,000 with a company car and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Proven HR experience with strong expertise in employee relations and complex case management.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law.
• Experience in unionised environments.
• Proficient with IT systems and HR data.

Responsibilities

• Building trusted relationships with general managers and operations managers across multiple sites, providing expert HR guidance and strategic support with more complex cases
• Leading on employee relations matters, ensuring fair, consistent, and commercially focused outcomes
• Driving engagement, wellbeing, and people initiatives that enhance performance and culture
• Coaching and developing managers to build capability and confidence in people management
• Supporting organisational change, business growth projects, TUPE activity, and talent development initiatives
• Using data and insight to identify trends, drive continuous improvement, and influence decision-making
• Build local relationships with Trade Union Representatives to ensure effective industrial relations
