Job summary

Dumfries and Galloway Mental Health Association is seeking an experienced Head of Operations to lead across the region. The post reports to the CEO and will shape strategy, oversee service delivery, and ensure safety, effectiveness and financial sustainability.

You will drive continuous improvement, oversee compliance with national standards, manage multi-site operations, and develop high-performing teams to deliver person-centred care.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years' senior leadership experience in adult social care or health services.
• Experience of managing regional multi-site services across Dumfries and Galloway or similar.
• SVQ Level 4 in Social Services and Healthcare (or equivalent).
• SVQ Level 4 in Leadership and Management (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and operational leadership for regional services.
• Drive performance management and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with national legislation, regulatory standards, and local priorities.
