Job summary

Peabody is seeking a Head of Complex Repairs to lead the delivery of specialist, high‑risk and technically complex repairs across its homes. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Repairs Delivery, you will oversee a large regional surveying and coordination function and drive improved technical assurance and resident outcomes.

This role sits in a period of organisational change, with teams brought under a single leadership structure and a new end-to-end CRM process being introduced.

Qualifications

• Extensive repairs and maintenance leadership with technical knowledge of complex repairs.
• Experience leading dispersed teams through change.
• Strong data-driven decision making and governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead Peabody's Complex Repairs service with clear standards across regions.
• Manage an approximately £25m budget with strong commercial control.
• Lead and performance manage Property Service Managers and surveying teams.
• Strengthen end-to-end management of complex cases to reduce delays and disrepair.
• Improve technical standards, surveying quality and contractor variations scrutiny.
• Use data and performance information to identify issues and drive continuous improvement.
• Manage risk related to disrepair, damp, mould, and building safety compliance.
• Build relationships across Housing, Building Safety, Commercial, Procurement and Resident Experience.
