Job summary

Hall & Kay is seeking a multi-disciplined Fire & Security Service Engineer to join the Birmingham team. You will service, maintain, install and support fire alarm systems and integrated security technologies across the Midlands, with comprehensive product training and ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities include commissioning, testing against BS5839, on-site and remote diagnostics, and delivering high-quality customer service.

Qualifications

Full UK driving licence is essential.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client engagement.
Good problem-solving and analytical ability for fault diagnosis.
Capable of independent work and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

Service, PPM, installation and commissioning of fire alarm systems across the Midlands.
Maintain compliance with BS5839 and keep detailed service records.
Provide on-site and remote technical support for security systems.
Carry out diagnostics, fault finding and routine maintenance on CCTV and access control.
Respond to emergencies, complete reports and ensure customer satisfaction.
