The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of fire alarms and security systems, an existing local network, and the ability to generate and close new opportunities while working independently to manage a personal pipeline.

Qualifications

• Experience in business development or sales within the fire and security industry.
• Strong knowledge of fire alarms, security systems and related services.
• Proven ability to generate new business and win contracts.
• Excellent local knowledge of Manchester and Liverpool markets.
• Existing regional contacts would be a significant advantage.
• Commercially driven with strong relationship-building skills.
• Able to work independently and manage your own pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Identify and win new business opportunities across Manchester, Liverpool and the surrounding areas.
• Develop relationships with local businesses, end users, contractors and other relevant contacts.
• Generate leads and convert opportunities into new contracts.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients.
• Identify opportunities to expand existing accounts and develop long-term customer relationships.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth handover of new business.
• Keep up to date with local market activity, competitors and potential growth opportunities.
