Job summary

Western Global is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth in the North region. This field-based role requires regular travel; you will visit customers 2-4 days per week while working from home on other days.

You will build relationships, identify new opportunities, and work with Inside Sales to meet budget, pricing, and product programs. Strong networking and communication with senior decision-makers are essential.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years proven sales experience in a similar role.
• Proven track record of full sales cycle management.
• Based in Manchester/Leeds area, willingness to travel 2–4 days/week.
• Experience in the industry is preferred.
• Strong negotiation and client requirements understanding.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with customers; focus on retention and growth.
• Identify new business opportunities including markets and partnerships.
• Own regional sales budget, forecasting and performance.
• Collaborate with internal teams on sales initiatives.
• Serve as liaison between customers and internal teams; convey requirements.
