HSL Compliance is seeking a regional engineering lead in Barnsley for a hybrid role blending site audits, technical leadership, and commercial oversight. You will guide engineers, manage PPE, inspect vehicles, and ensure work aligns with RAMS and client specs.

The role emphasizes leadership, profitability tracking, and collaborative client engagement, with regional travel in the UK and full driving licence required.

Qualificações

• Strong experience in water hygiene, Legionella compliance, or mechanical services.
• Proven track record leading, mentoring, or supervising field engineers.
• Ability to quote remedial works, track job profitability, and monitor team KPIs.
• Confidence to handle difficult conversations, build client relationships, and coordinate with internal teams.
• Full UK driving licence for essential regional travel.

Responsabilidades

• Provide daily technical support, troubleshoot complex site issues, and conduct regular engineer audits to ensure work meets RAMS and client specifications.
• Lead new-starter inductions, verify field competency, and actively mentor engineers to develop their skills.
• Oversee the ordering of PPE and tools, and coordinate vehicle management (inspections, handovers, and maintenance).
• Manage daily engineering operations, process timesheets, monitor productivity, and handle minor performance or conduct issues.
• Scope, price, and track the financial performance of remedial projects while resolving day-to-day operational blocks.
• Support client-facing Account Managers by providing operational context to contract KPIs.
