Job summary

Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and risk management principles.
- Experience in waste management, logistics, transport, manufacturing, utilities, or similar environments.
- Proven ability to influence behavioural change and drive measurable improvements.
- Experience delivering training, coaching, competency assessments, and practical operational support.
Responsibilities
- Support the Regional Operations Manager in maintaining high standards of performance, compliance, service delivery, and safety across multiple sites.
- Drive continuous improvement in HSE and operational compliance through coaching, auditing, and training.
- Conduct site audits, risk assessments, and safety inspections to identify risks and implement corrective actions.
- Deliver inductions, driver assessments, and competency evaluations to improve operational standards.
- Promote a positive safety culture by engaging with operational teams and encouraging safe behaviours.
- Support accident investigations and implement preventative measures based on root cause analysis.
- Monitor regional HSE performance, analyse trends, and provide practical recommendations.
- Assist site management with implementing company procedures and safe systems of work.
- Lead regional improvement projects focused on efficiency, compliance, and safety performance.
- Produce management reports to measure progress and support decisions.
