Job summary

Shackleton Advisers Limited seeks an experienced Facilities Manager to lead FM across a portfolio of offices in Northern England. The role focuses on safe, compliant, and efficient workplaces, balancing strategic priorities with day‑to‑day delivery.

You will oversee health and safety compliance, contractor management, and workplace projects, with regular travel from the Harrogate base to regional offices to ensure high‑quality facilities service.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Facilities Manager or regional facilities manager across multiple sites.
• Strong knowledge of hard and soft FM services and supplier management.
• Experience managing facilities budgets, contracts and external suppliers.
• Knowledge of UK health and safety legislation and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead facilities management across a portfolio of office locations in the UK.
• Ensure offices are safe, compliant and productive for staff.
• Manage PM schedules, reactive maintenance and contractor controls.
• Oversee office services including cleaning, security, utilities and furniture.
• Conduct site visits and workplace audits to ensure consistency.
• Lead minor refurbishments and coordinate external stakeholders.
