Job summary

WSP is seeking an experienced leader to join our UK Engagement and Consultation team, overseeing delivery across major infrastructure programmes in water, transport, energy and the environment. You will shape regional delivery models, lead distributed teams and build strategic client relationships, with a strong focus on excellence and innovation.

A regular presence in the Manchester office is expected. A degree and membership in a relevant professional body are preferred; you will mentor teams

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading consultation and engagement on large, multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects.
• Degree qualified or equivalent relevant professional experience.
• Membership of a relevant professional or trade body (desirable).
• Experience across road, rail, utilities, water, environment or energy sectors.

• Lead a regional team of communication and engagement experts.
• Manage new and existing projects and strengthen client relationships.
• Lead tender responses and support business development activity.
• Drive team growth and capability across the North, with a Manchester presence.
