Job summary

WSP seeks an Engagement professional to lead stakeholder communications for major UK infrastructure projects. You will manage public consultation and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver thoughtful engagement that informs project decisions.

Ideal candidates have degree qualifications in communications or related advisory roles, with experience in transport, utilities, water, environment, or energy sectors. The role spans UK-wide projects within the Planning and Consents unit.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering communications and stakeholder engagement on complex infrastructure projects.
• Degree-qualified (or equivalent) in communications, engagement, or a related advisory role.
• Sector experience in transport, utilities, water, environment, or energy is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver meaningful stakeholder engagement strategies across UK infrastructure projects.
• Write easy-to-understand communications and manage design/print processes.
• Provide opportunities for questions and feedback through events, surveys, and publications.
• Present feedback to inform project development and report themes and issues.
• Advise clients with communication activity including virtual consultation rooms and maps.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective engagement.
