Job summary

WSP is seeking an experienced leader to join theEngagement and Consultation team within Planning and Consents, delivering engagement across major infrastructure projects in the UK. Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience leading engagement across large multidisciplinary infrastructure projects.
• At least degree-qualified or equivalent.
• Membership of relevant professional or trade body desirable.
• Experience in road, rail, utilities, water, environment or energy sectors.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagement delivery across major UK infrastructure projects.
• Shape regional delivery models and lead distributed teams.
• Build strategic client relationships and drive best practice in engagement.
• Develop and implement competency-focused training for the team.
• Plan and deliver stakeholder communications and consultations, including risk management and public information events.
• Manage projects including resourcing, budgets and delivery to programme.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver projects.
• Act as a people manager for engagement specialists.
