Job summary

WSP is seeking an experienced leader to join its UK Engagement team, shaping how major infrastructure projects connect with communities. You will lead delivery across projects in water, health, energy and environment sectors, building strategic client relationships and driving excellence in engagement practice.

As part of the Engagement and Consultation Service Line Senior Leadership Team, you will manage regional delivery, mentor teams, and contribute to business development.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading consultation and engagement on large infrastructure projects.
• Degree-qualified or equivalent professional experience.
• Membership of a relevant professional body (desirable).
• Experience across road, rail, utilities, water, energy or environment sectors.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional engagement team across major UK infrastructure projects.
• Advise on engagement and consultation strategies for complex projects.
• Ensure compliance with planning legislation and DCO requirements.
• Embed global best practice in communications and engagement.
• Drive team growth and capability across the North, with presence in Manchester.
