Job summary

NHS Blood and Transplant is seeking a Regional End User Technical Support Engineer to keep IT services running across multiple sites. You will install, configure, and support hardware, software and clinical-critical systems, providing face-to-face and remote assistance to colleagues.

In a fast-paced environment you will manage incidents, ensure services meet SLAs, and contribute to security and reliability.

Qualifications

Experience in a customer-focused IT support environment.
Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 including Windows 7/10.
Experience delivering IT support under SLAs.
Experience supporting Thin Client Citrix environments.

Responsibilities

Install, configure and support IT hardware, software and systems across NHSBT sites.
Provide regional incident support for IT services, manage incidents and prioritise for NHSBT.
Work face-to-face and remotely, advise on IT requirements per policies.
Perform tasks essential to provision and maintenance of IT systems.
Provide technical expertise through participation in expert groups, team calls and project meetings.
Represent the Directorate at centre-based meetings and working groups.
Be available for travel and on-call rotations including irregular hours and weekends.
