NHS Blood and Transplant is seeking a Regional End User Technical Support Engineer to keep IT services running across multiple sites. You will install, configure, and support hardware, software, and clinical‑critical systems, providing both face‑to‑face and remote assistance to colleagues.

As a Regional End User Technical Support Engineer, you will play a key role in keeping NHS Blood and Transplant’s IT services running smoothly across multiple sites. You will install, configure, and support a wide range of hardware, software, and clinical‑critical systems, providing both face‑to‑face and remote assistance to colleagues.
Working in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment, you will manage IT incidents, resolve issues within agreed service levels, and ensure systems remain secure, reliable, and fit for purpose. Through your technical expertise and clear communication, you will help colleagues deliver life‑saving services every day, while contributing to service improvement, projects, and the overall resilience of NHSBT’s IT infrastructure.
Your responsibilities will include:
You will be required to travel and spend time away from base, which will involve working irregular hours and overnight stays when required, with prior notice. You will be required to take part in an out of hours on call rota that could include some weekend work.
