Job summary

BT Group is seeking a Construction Project Manager for UK Projects and Construction Delivery to lead a regional programme of office refurbishments, operational estate upgrades, and related initiatives. You will oversee multi-disciplinary teams, ensure safe, compliant delivery, and manage contracts and budgets across the portfolio.

You will work closely with consultants, contractors and internal customers, applying strong governance, risk management and value-for-money principles.

Qualifications

• Degree in Building Surveying, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or related field.
• Professional qualification MRICS/MCIOB/MAPM or equivalent is desirable.
• Experience delivering construction projects in telecoms/critical infrastructure or operational estates.

Responsibilities

• Lead a regional programme of construction projects across BT's UK estate.
• Provide leadership, direction and oversight to project teams, consultants and contractors.
• Ensure delivery is safe, compliant, and cost-effective while maintaining operational continuity.
• Provide technical oversight on building fabric, systems, and construction solutions.
• Administer contracts as Employer's Agent or Contract Administrator where required.
• Drive contractor and consultant performance and governance across the supply chain.
• Manage programme finances including forecasting, reporting, and capex management.
• Build strong relationships with internal customers and senior stakeholders.
