Job summary

ghd is seeking a Senior Commercial Operations Director to lead regional coordination across EMEA & APAC, delivering sustainable growth and profitability. You will own end-to-end commercial oversight across Offline and Online channels, with strategic ownership of Offline channels including Premium Retail and Salons.

Based in London with a hybrid pattern, you will partner with Regional MDs, Finance, and Ecommerce to align plans, drive performance, and transform commercial models across markets.

Qualifications

• Advanced senior commercial leadership experience within beauty, FMCG or adjacent consumer categories.
• Proven regional or multi-country commercial responsibility with performance management at scale.
• Expertise in sales strategy, go-to-market, trade terms and channel optimization.
• Track record of leading commercial transformation, operating model change or turnaround initiatives.
• Ability to operate in highly matrixed, international organisations.
• Strong commercial acumen, analytical capability and decision-making in ambiguity.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the region.
• Experience across professional and consumer beauty channels.
• Distributor and emerging market exposure.
• Experience working with or inside global brand-led organisations.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional commercial coordination across all countries and channels (Offline & Online).
• Own commercial phasing (AOP and in-year) by country and channel.
• Drive scorecard governance, Net Revenue tracking and performance cadence.
• Provide visibility and roll-up of total regional performance.
• Oversee key financial metrics (P&L, EBITDA, Gross-to-Net, Trade Terms, Margin).
• Partner with Country MDs and Ecommerce leadership to align plans and performance.
• Own strategy and performance of Offline channels (Premium Retail, Distributors & Salons).
• Define growth priorities and channel strategy; drive Premium Retail growth as a key engine.
• Integrate E-commerce inputs to ensure a joined-up regional growth view.
• Lead regional transformation initiatives (GTN, Trade Terms, Pay for Performance) to ensure value across markets.
