Job summary

ghd is seeking a commercially driven, field-based Business Development Manager to unlock growth across our salon channels in the north east region of England. You will expand the salon footprint, drive revenue growth, and elevate brand presence through strategic partnerships, education, and retail excellence.

This high-impact role requires building lasting relationships in the professional beauty space, hitting targets, and travelling across postcodes DH-DL-NE-SR-TD-TS and parts of YO to grow

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in field sales, business development, or regional management.
• Experience in the spa, hair, beauty, or wellness sector would be desirable.
• Willingness to travel frequently and work in a field-based role.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly business reviews with salon accounts and use performance data to drive improvements.
• Drive sell-in and sell-out performance across styling tools, products, and services.
• Collaborate with education and marketing teams to activate campaigns and boost retail conversion.
• Identify, prospect and secure new salon partnerships aligned with brand standards.
• Present compelling commercial proposals and product demonstrations.
• Maintain and nurture relationships with salon accounts and salon owners, educators, and stylists.
