Job summary

Barchester Healthcare is seeking a Regional Clinical Development Nurse to lead and improve clinical governance and the quality of care across six care homes in Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex.

You will review monthly governance data, drive improvements, and work with the Regional Director and senior staff to implement actions. Regular travel across the region is essential, and you will mentor nurses and support ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with current NMC registration.
• Experience in a care home environment.
• Strong leadership and analytical abilities to drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support clinical governance and quality of care across six homes.
• Review governance databases and KPIs monthly; identify practical improvement actions.
• Collaborate with Regional Director and senior staff to implement key actions and train teams.
• Travel across Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex is essential for this regional role.
