Job summary
Barchester Healthcare is seeking a Regional Clinical Development Nurse to lead clinical governance and quality across six care homes in Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex. You will review KPIs, analyse results, and implement practical strategies to meet regulations and improve resident care, travel regularly as required.
The role requires an RN with current NMC registration, active CPD, and proven leadership and mentoring ability in a care home setting.
Qualifications
- Must be a Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
- Evidence of ongoing professional development (CPD).
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements.
- Experience working in a care home environment.
- Proven leadership and clinical mentoring skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support governance and quality of care across six homes.
- Review clinical governance data and KPIs monthly; identify improvement actions.
- Collaborate with Regional Director and senior staff to implement actions.
- Organise training and recruit senior clinical staff as needed.
- Deliver clinical investigations and share learning; travel regularly.
