Job summary

Barchester seeks a Regional Clinical Development Nurse to lead clinical governance and drive quality of care across six care homes in Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex. You will review governance data, support homes to meet regulations, and implement actions with senior staff, while travelling regularly across the region.

The role requires an RN (General) with current NMC registration, CPD evidence, and strong regulatory knowledge.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse RN (General) with current NMC registration.
• Evidence of continued professional development (CPD) and understanding of regulatory requirements.
• Experienced in a care home environment with mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support clinical governance and quality of care across six care homes.
• Review monthly clinical governance data and KPIs to drive practical improvement actions.
• Collaborate with Regional Director and senior staff; organise training and lead investigations; travel regularly.
