Job summary

Barchester Healthcare is seeking a Regional Clinical Development Nurse to lead clinical governance and drive quality of care across six care homes in Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex.

You'll review monthly KPI data, identify practical improvements, and work with the Regional Director and senior staff to implement actions. Regular travel is essential to support ongoing clinical development and mentoring of care teams.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse RN (General) with current NMC registration.
• Experience in a care home setting.
• Strong regulatory and governance knowledge.
• Proven leadership and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support clinical governance and quality of care across six homes.
• Review KPIs and clinical governance data monthly and implement improvements.
• Collaborate with regional director and senior clinical staff; address issues with action plans.
• Organise training and attract senior clinical staff; support clinical investigations.
• Travel regularly across Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex.
