Job summary

Barchester is seeking a Regional Clinical Development Nurse to lead clinical governance and drive quality of care across six care homes in the region. You will monitor regulatory requirements, support homes to achieve high clinical standards, and mentor nursing teams.

The role requires a registered nurse with NMC registration, CPD evidence, and proven leadership. Regular travel across Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex is expected, and you will partner with the Regional Director and senior staff to

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse RN (General) with a current NMC registration.
• Evidence of continued professional development (CPD) is required.
• Experience in a care home environment and strong leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support clinical governance and quality of care across multiple homes.
• Review monthly clinical governance databases and KPIs, analyse results and implement actions.
• Coordinate training, recruit senior clinical staff and lead clinical investigations; travel regularly.
