Job summary

Barchester Healthcare is seeking a Regional Clinical Development Nurse to lead and enhance clinical governance and quality across six care homes in the East of England. You will review KPIs, analyse data, and implement practical improvement actions to meet regulations and raise care standards.

The role requires RN (General) registration with the NMC, CPD evidence, and proven leadership and mentoring abilities. Regular travel to homes is essential to drive improvements and training.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse RN (General) with current NMC registration.
Experience as a clinical mentor in a care home.
Strong regulatory knowledge and CPD evidence.
Leadership, mentoring and ability to implement action plans.

Responsibilities

Lead and support clinical governance and quality across six homes.
Review governance databases and KPIs monthly; analyse results and plan improvements.
Implement training and attract senior clinical staff as needed.
Deliver clinical investigations and drive actions arising from issues.
Travel regionally across Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex as required.
