We’re on the hunt for an experienced Claims Manager with knowledge and experience of Claims to build strong and trusted client and customer relationships.

You will manage a team of approximately 10-15 staff within the region and ensure delivery of a proactive, efficient, and effective claims service.

Role Responsibilities
  • Ensure all required documentation in relation to claims is dealt with as a priority and dispatched to insurers or their representatives without delay.
  • Manage and monitor the performance of all team members across multiple sites, deploying resources according to business needs.
  • Produce internal MI reports regularly and submit them to the Head of Claims for performance monitoring, resource planning, and strategy.
  • Identify resource issues, problems, trends, and address them with suitable solutions, consulting the Head of Claims as necessary.
What We Are Looking For
  • Insurance claims experience within commercial lines (ideally 5+ years).
  • Ability to read, understand, interpret policy wordings, and explain cover to clients and colleagues.
  • Confidence to challenge insurers on policy interpretation and apply it to claims.
  • Decisive leadership skills, mediating conflicts, motivating others, and delegating duties effectively.
