Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a Regional Bank Chef to support our homes across the South West and Midlands. You will manage a culinary team, delivering nutritionally balanced, high‑quality meals while travelling between sites to meet residents' needs.

Our ideal candidate has at least five years in busy kitchens, strong health and safety knowledge, and NVQ3 in Food Production or equivalent. You will lead, train staff, and ensure food safety standards are met under the Avery Food Safety

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' culinary kitchen experience.
• Knowledge of health and safety and current food safety legislation.
• NVQ 3 in Food Production or equivalent; IDDSI training is preferred.
• Ability to lead and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare nutritionally balanced menus within budget.
• Place orders with approved suppliers to maintain stock levels.
• Supervise kitchen staff and train unqualified staff.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene per the Avery Food Safety Management system.
