Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a Regional Bank Chef to support our kitchens across the Midlands and Northwest. You will lead a culinary team, plan nutritionally balanced menus, manage stocks and costs, and travel between homes to ensure consistent high standards of quality and safety.

The ideal candidate has at least five years in busy kitchens, NVQ3 in Food Production or equivalent, COSHH awareness, and leadership abilities. DBS check and right to work in the UK required.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in managing a busy kitchen
• Knowledge of health and safety and food safety legislation
• NVQ 3 in Food Production or equivalent/City and Guilds 706-1 706-2 Catering qualifications /Trained in IDDSI /textured modified diets
• Ability to work as part of a team and demonstrate leadership qualities

• Prepare nutritionally balanced menu plans for approval by Home Manager.
• Place food orders with approved suppliers, within budget.
• Supervise and direct the work of kitchen staff and Host team.
• Ensure all food preparation meets high hygiene standards under Avery Food Safety Management system
