Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a Regional Bank Chef to support the culinary teams in our North East and Yorkshire homes. You will lead menu planning, oversee staff, and ensure nutritionally balanced, high-quality meals within budget.

The role involves travel to multiple sites, strong leadership, and a commitment to food safety standards. DBS check is required and eligibility to work in the UK is confirmed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' culinary experience in busy kitchens.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and food safety.
• COSHH knowledge and cleaning to high standards.
• IDDSI / textured modified diets training.

Responsibilities

• Prepare nutritionally balanced menu plans for Home Manager approval.
• Place food orders with approved suppliers within budget limits.
• Supervise kitchen staff and Host team; train unqualified staff.
• Ensure hygiene via Avery Food Safety System and safe handling.
