Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a Regional Bank Chef to support the culinary operations across our Hampshire homes. You will lead a culinary team to deliver nutritionally balanced, high-quality meals while ensuring cost efficiency and traveling between sites.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of kitchen experience, strong knowledge of health and safety regulations, and NVQ 3 in Food Production or City & Guilds catering qualifications.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 5 years of culinary experience in a busy kitchen.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and current food safety legislation.
• COSHH knowledge and maintaining hygiene in a 5-star kitchen.
• IDDSI/ textured modified diets training is desirable.
• Ability to work as part of a team and demonstrate leadership.

Aufgaben

• Prepare nutritionally balanced menu plans for approval by the Home Manager, with consideration for dietary needs and record-keeping.
• Place food orders with approved suppliers, manage stock within budget.
• Supervise and direct kitchen staff and Host team; train unqualified staff in food preparation.
• Apply Avery Food Safety Management system and maintain high standards of hygiene.
