Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a Regional Bank Chef to support our homes across the Surrey Region. You will lead a culinary team to deliver nutritionally balanced, high-quality meals while managing costs and staying within budget.

The role involves travelling to multiple homes and supervising kitchen staff, ensuring safe, compliant food preparation, and upholding Avery's food safety standards across sites.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of culinary management experience.
• Knowledge of health and safety and current food safety legislation.
• NVQ 3 in Food Production or equivalent / IDDSI training.
• Ability to work as part of a team and demonstrate leadership qualities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare nutritionally balanced menu plans for approval by the Home Manager.
• Place food orders with approved suppliers, maintaining stock within budget.
• Supervise and direct the work of kitchen staff and Host team.
• Demonstrate safe food handling and uphold HACCP/food safety standards.
