Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' culinary experience in a busy kitchen.
• Knowledge of health and safety and current food safety legislation.
• NVQ 3 in Food Production or City & Guilds Catering qualifications /IDDSI training.
• Ability to work as part of a team and demonstrate leadership qualities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare nutritionally balanced menu plans for Home Manager approval.
• Place food orders with approved suppliers within budget.
• Supervise kitchen staff and instruct unqualified staff.
• Maintain Avery Food Safety Management system and hygiene standards.
