Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a Regional Bank Chef to support our homes across the Kent Region. You will travel between sites to lead the culinary team in preparing nutritionally balanced, appetising meals while managing costs and maintaining high standards of hygiene.

You will supervise kitchen staff, develop menus, and ensure compliance with health and safety legislation. DBS check and eligibility to work in the UK are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' culinary experience.
• Knowledge of health and safety and COSHH requirements.
• NVQ3 in Food Production or equivalent, with relevant catering qualifications.
• Ability to lead and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare nutritionally balanced menus for approval by Home Manager.
• Place food orders with approved suppliers within budget.
• Supervise kitchen staff and Host team; train unqualified staff.
• Maintain highest hygiene standards per Avery Food Safety Management system.
