Job summary

Barchester Healthcare is seeking an Operational Trainer to deliver induction and development training across a regional group of homes, including Wokingham, Reading and Bracknell. You will be the first point of contact for new staff, ensuring they align with the Barchester ethos and care standards.

The role is home-based with travel, 40 hours per week, offering a salary of 32,000 per annum plus a 6,000 car allowance and benefits including pension and life cover.

Qualifications

• C&G 7300 or equivalent qualification.
• Diploma level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent experience.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
• 2 years training experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver induction and development training across the region.
• Provide practical, hands-on training across a variety of subjects.
• Plan and publish training calendars.
• Maintain up-to-date employee training files.
• Observe workplace practice and coach staff.
• Attend meetings and external conferences as required.
• Promote learning and development opportunities within Barchester.
