Job summary

Barchester Healthcare is seeking an Operational Trainer to deliver induction and development training across a regional portfolio of homes and hospitals. This home-based role involves travel within a defined region to ensure staff are confident, competent and aligned with the Barchester ethos.

You will coordinate training calendars, maintain training files and support line managers with personal development plans while promoting learning opportunities offered by Barchester.

Qualifications

• C&G 7300 or equivalent required.
• Diploma level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent experience in social care.
• Knowledge of legislative requirements in care sector.
• Minimum 2 years training experience.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver induction and development training to multiple homes/hospitals within region.
• Provide practical, hands-on training across subjects.
• Plan and publish training calendars.
• Maintain up-to-date employee training files.
• Observe workplace practice and coaching new staff.
• Arrange induction paperwork and assign a buddy.
