Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Regional Business Development Manager in the United Kingdom to win and grow Accommodation and Welfare revenue from National Accounts, End Markets, large regional customers and mega projects. The role focuses on optimizing revenue through multiple channels, identifying differentiated value propositions, and driving order capture conversion and customer experience.

Qualifications

• Considerable sales experience of working closely with large customers.
• Commercial acumen to ensure competitive contracts are proposed and bid for.
• Tender & Bid writing – able to contribute to sizable bid opportunities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills – both internally and externally.
• Good understanding of hire contracts and terms.
• Teamwork – able to work across teams and across the company to build customers proposals and form commercial contracts.

Responsibilities

• Developing a pipeline of accounts and/or projects with National accounts & End Markets teams to drive Sunbelt Rentals Accommodation & Welfare strategy.
• Work closely with Sunbelt Rentals business units to increase routes to market and customer engagement.
• Present propositions to senior stakeholders based around product, service offerings, innovation and sustainability.
• Represent Sunbelt Rentals and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead on tender bids ensuring profitability and ROI; collaborate with Tenders, Bids, Marketing and Sales teams.
• Maintain sales pipeline using CRM and align with KPIs.
