Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals UK is seeking a Business Development Manager of Power and Sustainability to drive the national sales strategy, shape growth plans and manage our customer base. You will build strong relationships with clients, generate leads from existing customers and new industries, and promote Sunbelt Rentals’ equipment range.

This role involves regional and occasional national travel, with excellent product training and career progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-focused role with strong relationship management skills.
• Experience within Power Rental and Sustainability sector.
• Strong planning and organisational abilities to manage time effectively.
• Resilient and able to work in a pressurised environment.
• Experience with Power, Clean Energy, Battery Storage and Energy Storage.
• Excellent communication, influencing and negotiating skills.
• Ability to promote the Sunbelt Rentals brand and cross-sell products.
• Proficient IT skills and data analysis of business plans and market data.
• Self-motivated with high energy and enthusiasm.
• Full Clean UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement growth plans aligned to the national sales strategy.
• Generate leads from existing customers and new industries.
• Build strong client relationships to drive growth and retention.
• Promote Sunbelt Rentals’ equipment range and cross-sell where appropriate.
• Travel regionally and nationally as required.
