Job summary

VP plc, UK Forks division, seeks an experienced account manager to own a defined customer portfolio across an Essex-based region. You will build relationships, develop joint plans and deliver revenue growth while providing technical advice on access requirements.

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will collaborate with regional and cross-functional teams to meet targets, manage forecasts, and ensure a seamless service from enquiry to delivery.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience in Account Management.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to identify opportunities and develop solutions that drive growth.
• Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills with a collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver sales plans for assigned customers and area to identify growth opportunities.
• Manage and develop customer relationships, conducting regular face-to-face account reviews.
• Identify opportunities to increase share of existing business and develop new revenue opportunities.
• Build customer partnerships by understanding needs and developing joint business plans.
• Deliver monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets focusing on margin, hire rates and product utilisation.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts and CRM records; collaborate with Operations, Logistics, Credit Control and SSC to service customers.
