Job summary

Adecco is recruiting a Refuse Collection Loader in Greater London to join a team of key workers delivering a positive environmental impact. The role offers a strong work-life balance with pre-planned routes and fixed start/finish times, meaning no late finishes and plenty of time for family and friends.

You will carry out daily refuse and recycling collections, use in-cab technology, complete paperwork in real time, inspect machinery, keep vehicles clean, and maintain excellent customer

• Self-motivated and willing to undertake tasks.
• Previous relevant experience desirable, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out refuse and recycling collections daily, with skills and knowledge of all machinery aspects of the job.
• Undertake all duties in a professional manner, deploying safe lifting and handling techniques appropriate to the articles left for removal.
• Use in-cab technology/mobile devices as directed.
• Complete relevant paperwork in real time.
• Carry out daily inspections and reporting for machinery and vehicles, before and after usage.
• Ensure the cleanliness of machinery and vehicles.
• Maintain excellent customer and client relations, particularly with members of the public.

Your typical working hours will be:

6.00am to 2.30pm - Monday - Friday
