Job summary

Adecco is hiring a Refuse Collection Loader to join a team of key workers focused on keeping communities clean and safe. You will operate daily refuse and recycling pickups with planned routes and set start times, ensuring professional service and safety standards.

The role offers a strong work-life balance and opportunities for career development. Typical hours are from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with weekly pay and on-site parking.

Responsibilities

• Carry out refuse and recycling collections daily using proper lifting techniques.
• Use in-cab technology/mobile devices as directed.
• Complete relevant paperwork in real time and report daily on machinery and vehicles.
• Conduct daily inspections and reporting for machinery and vehicles.

Refuse Collection Loader to join a team of valued key workers and help make a positive difference to the environment we all live and work in.

As a Refuse Collection loader, you'll:

• Carry out refuse and recycling collections daily, with skills and knowledge of all machinery aspects of the job
• Undertake all duties in a professional manner, deploying safe lifting and handling techniques appropriate to the articles left for removal
• Use in-cab technology/mobile devices as directed
• Complete relevant paperwork in real time.
• Carry out daily inspections and reporting for machinery and vehicles, before and after usage
• Ensure the cleanliness of machinery and vehicles
• Maintain excellent customer and client relations, particularly with members of the public

Your typical working hours will be:

6am to 2.30pm - Monday - Friday
