Job summary

QS Recruitment is seeking refuse loaders for a frontline waste-collection role in the Alfreton area. You will join a 3–4 person team, loading and unloading residential and commercial waste with a strong emphasis on safety, attendance, and teamwork.

Hours start early at 05:45 with a typical finish around 2 PM; overtime is available on Saturdays. UK applicants only; visa sponsorship is not offered. Training will be provided; prior experience is not required but a good work ethic is essential.

Qualifications

• Attendance is essential.
• Willingness to work outdoors and in walking conditions.
• Physically able to lift over 10kg.
• Must work well in a team and have a good attendance record.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload residential and commercial waste collections as part of a 3–4 person team.
• Follow safety procedures while handling waste and operating around trucks.
• Complete work on a Monday to Friday schedule with overtime on Saturdays if required.

This is a Monday to Friday postion, and offering good working hours each day.

As a refuse loader you will work as part of a team making the residential and commercial garden waste, glass, and general waste collections. You will be in teams of 3-4 loaders and will be responsible for safely loading and unloading of the trucks. The ability to work in a team and be able to walk long distances, and do manual work is therefore essential!

Our client is strict on attendance, so any worker will need to have a good attendance record

Hourly Rate: Rate is£12.71 per hour for weekdays, for the first 8 hours£19.07 for overtime and hours worked on SaturdaysAfter 12 weeks, the rate increases to £13.74 per hour.for the first 8 hours£20.61 oer hour for overtime and hours worked on SaturdaysWe do not offer Visa Sponsorships

Working Hours: Daily start times are 0545.Regular finish time is around 2pm.Saturday overtime is available.
