Job summary

Adecco is hiring a Refuse Collection Loader to join a team of key workers making a positive environmental impact. The role offers pre-planned routes, set start/finish times, and a strong work-life balance with on-site parking and weekly pay.

You will perform daily refuse/recycling collections, use in-cab tech, complete paperwork in real time, and maintain vehicles with a focus on safety and customer relations.

• Previous relevant experience desirable, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out refuse and recycling collections daily, with knowledge of all machinery aspects of the job.
• Undertake all duties in a professional manner, deploying safe lifting and handling techniques appropriate to the articles left for removal.
• Use in-cab technology/mobile devices as directed.
• Complete relevant paperwork in real time.
• Carry out daily inspections and reporting for machinery and vehicles, before and after usage.
• Ensure the cleanliness of machinery and vehicles.
• Maintain excellent customer and client relations, particularly with members of the public.

Your typical working hours will be:

6.30am to 3.00pm - Monday - Friday
