Coldfront Air Conditioning and Refrigeration in the United Kingdom is seeking a skilled Refrigeration Engineer to join our field team. You will install, service, and repair refrigeration and air conditioning systems across commercial and residential sites, ensuring high standards of safety and customer satisfaction.

The role requires NVQ Level 2/3 and F-Gas Category 1 certification, plus a clean UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Refrigeration and/or Air Conditioning Engineer.
• NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent qualification.
• F-Gas Category 1 certification (essential).
• Good electrical and mechanical knowledge.
• Ability to fault-find and problem-solve effectively.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage workload efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair of refrigeration and air conditioning systems
• Fault finding and diagnostics on HVAC and refrigeration equipment
• Work on split systems, VRV/VRF, chillers, cold rooms, CO2, and air handling units
• Ensure compliance with health & safety and F-Gas regulations
• Complete job reports and service documentation
• Provide high level of customer service on-site
• Work independently and as part of a team
• Participate in on-call rota (if required)

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Refrigeration Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, servicing, and repair of refrigeration and air conditioning systems across commercial and/or residential sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair of refrigeration and air conditioning systems
• Fault finding and diagnostics on a variety of HVAC and refrigeration equipment
• Working on systems including split systems, VRV/VRF, chillers, cold rooms, all aspects of refrigeration inc. CO2 and air handling units
• Ensuring all work complies with current health & safety and F-Gas regulations
• Completing job reports and service documentation accurately
• Providing a high level of customer service and professionalism on-site
• Working independently and as part of a team
• Participating in an on-call rota (if required)

Skills & Experience Required
