Job summary

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD are seeking a Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer for the South East region. The role covers maintenance, servicing and fault-finding of commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems in bars, pubs, restaurants, and similar properties.

The ideal candidate holds an NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, an Fgas Cat 1 qualification, and a full driving licence, with residence in the South East. A company van and tools are provided.

Qualifications

• Fgas Cat 1 qualification is required.
• NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning is required.
• Full Driving Licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service, fault-find and repair a wide range of commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
• Attend properties such as bars, pubs, restaurants and commercial premises across the South East.
• Work across bottle coolers, walk-in chillers, upright fridges/freezers, cold rooms and VRF/VRV systems.

Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer - Job Overview

A Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer is required for our client, a specialist HVACR service provider based in the South West. Due to continued growth within the business, our client is looking to recruit an additional Engineer to join their South East division.

The Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, fault-finding and repair of a wide range of commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems, including:

• Bottle Coolers
• Walk-in-Chillers
• Upright Fridges & Freezers
• Cold Rooms & Cold Stores
• VRV and VRF systems
• Split and multi-split systems

The Service Engineer will be required to attend properties such as Bars, Pubs, Restaurants & Commercial properties across the South East.

Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer - Salary & Benefits

• Basic Salary £40,000 - £45,000 DOE
• 40hr working week
• Travel time paid after 30 minutes each way
• Overtime readily available
• 1 in 5 out of hours on call rota - weekends only (£25 per day for being on call + overtime rates if called out)
