Job summary

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is recruiting a Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer for a South West-based specialist HVACR service provider. The role focuses on maintenance, servicing and fault-finding of a wide range of commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems.

You will handle walk-in chillers, cold rooms, VRV/VRF, and split systems, with site visits to MOD locations across the South West and occasionally further afield.

Qualifications

• Fgas Cat 1 certification required.
• NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.
• Full Driving Licence required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service, fault-find and repair commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
• Work with walk-in chillers, cold rooms, VRV/VRF and split systems.
• Attend MOD sites across the South West and occasionally beyond.

Location: South West

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 DOE

Job Overview

A Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer is required for our client, a specialist HVACR service provider based in the South West. Due to continued growth within the business, our client is looking to recruit an additional Engineer to join their South West division.

The Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, fault-finding and repair of a wide range of commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems, including:

• Walk-in chillers
• Cold rooms and cold stores
• VRV and VRF systems
• Split and multi-split systems

The Service Engineer will be required to attend a variety of MOD sites across the South West & occasionally further afield.

Salary & Benefits

• Basic Salary £40,000 - £45,000 DOE
• 40hr working week
• Travel time paid after 30 minutes each way
• Overtime readily available
• 1 in 5 out of hours on call rota - weekends only (£25 per day for being on call + overtime rates if called out)
