Job summary

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking a Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer for our South West client. You will maintain, service, fault-find and repair commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems across walk-in chillers, cold rooms and VRV/VRF networks.

Expect a 40-hour week with on-call weekends and overtime. Fgas Cat 1, NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning and a Full Driving Licence are essential; South West-based applicants preferred for site work including

Qualifications

• Fgas Cat 1 qualification is essential.
• NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning is required.
• Full driving licence is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service, fault-find and repair commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
• Attend a variety of MOD sites across the South West and beyond.
• Handle walk-in chillers, cold rooms, VRV/VRF and multi-split systems.

Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer - Job Overview

A Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer is required for our client, a specialist HVACR service provider based in the South West. Due to continued growth within the business, our client is looking to recruit an additional Engineer to join their South West division.

The Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, fault-finding and repair of a wide range of commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems, including:

• Walk-in chillers
• Cold rooms and cold stores
• VRV and VRF systems
• Split and multi-split systems

The Service Engineer will be required to attend a variety of MOD sites across the South West & occasionally further afield.

Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer - Salary & Benefits

• Basic Salary £40,000 - £45,000 DOE
• 40hr working week
• Travel time paid after 30 minutes each way
• Overtime readily available
• 1 in 5 out of hours on call rota - weekends only (£25 per day for being on call + overtime rates if called out)
