Job summary

McM Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Service Engineer to join a growing business covering the North West. You will service, maintain and repair heavy commercial and CO2 refrigeration systems across a variety of commercial sites.

The role includes planned preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis and resolving issues efficiently to minimise downtime. A company vehicle is provided, with ongoing training and long-term career progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience as Refrigeration Service Engineer on heavy commercial and CO2 systems.
• F-Gas Certification required.
• Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on commercial refrigeration systems.
• Diagnosing faults and completing repairs to minimise downtime.

• Ensuring all work is completed in line with industry regulations and health and safety standards
• Providing a professional service and building strong relationships with customers
• Completing service reports and maintaining accurate documentation

Skills and Qualifications Required

• Previous experience working as a Refrigeration Service Engineer
• Experience servicing and maintaining heavy commercial and CO₂ refrigeration systems
• F-Gas Certification
• Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Ability to work independently and manage workloads effective
